I'm Building Core & Curve Lab in Public — and You're Invited to Learn With Me
I’m Building Core & Curve Lab in Public , and You’re Invited to Learn With Me

A personal note from Gina
Core & Curve Lab is taking shape, and I want to be honest about where I am in the process.
Right now, I am in an education and building stage. I am learning, researching, asking questions, organizing ideas, and working to understand what this company can become. At the same time, I am learning how to build Core & Curve Lab in a way that feels thoughtful, useful, and supportive for the women it is intended to serve.
I am not sharing a finished picture because there is not one yet.
I am sharing the real picture: a company being developed step by step, with care, curiosity, and a commitment to continued learning.
And you are invited to learn with me.
Why I am building Core & Curve Lab
Core & Curve Lab grew from my lived experience with Lipedema, including the challenges of living with late-stage Lipedema and fluctuating capacity.
Living with a chronic condition can affect much more than one part of your life. It can influence movement, energy, confidence, daily routines, relationships, and the way you plan your future. It can also create a constant need to adapt.
Many women are expected to keep searching for answers while managing limited energy and a healthcare system that does not always understand their experience. That can feel isolating.
I want Core & Curve Lab to grow into a nurturing space where women with late-stage Lipedema can find education, encouragement, and personalized support. The vision includes an integrated approach that brings together nutrition, movement, and body-focused care.
You can learn more about the heart of this vision on the Core & Curve Lab About page.
This work matters to me personally. It is also work I want to approach responsibly. That means I am giving myself permission to learn deeply, move carefully, and build something that respects the complexity of Lipedema and the different needs of each person.

What “building in public” means to me
Building in public does not mean sharing every private detail or pretending to have everything figured out.
For me, it means allowing people to see the process instead of only presenting a polished final result. It means being transparent about what I am learning, what I am exploring, and what still needs to develop.
It also means staying open to conversation.
As Core & Curve Lab grows, I may share:
- Lessons from my education and research
- Questions I am thinking through
- Ideas for future resources and services
- Reflections from my own wellness journey
- Updates about the company and its direction
- Conversations about capacity, chronic illness, and sustainable progress
- Practical education related to nutrition, movement, body awareness, and support
Some ideas will change. Some plans will take longer than expected. Some things may need to be tested, reviewed, or reworked.
That is not failure. It is part of building something with intention.
Learning before launching
I believe the education stage is important.
Before creating resources for other people, I want to keep strengthening my own understanding. I want to continue learning about the unique experiences of women with Lipedema, especially those living with more advanced symptoms, mobility challenges, and changing capacity.
I also want to understand the difference between information that sounds helpful and support that is genuinely appropriate, accessible, and compassionate.
That requires patience.
It requires listening to the community and making room for different experiences. It requires recognizing that no single plan will work for every woman. It requires looking beyond quick solutions and considering the whole person.
The future vision for Core & Curve Lab includes areas such as:
-
Personalized nutrition education
Support that considers individual health needs, preferences, routines, and capacity. -
MovementTracks™
Specialized movement concepts designed to support mobility and lymphatic health in a respectful, adaptable way. -
Bodywork and fascia-focused care
Gentle, Lipedema-focused approaches that recognize the relationship between the body, comfort, movement, and overall wellbeing.
These areas are part of the developing vision. I am continuing to learn how they can be offered responsibly and meaningfully.
You can explore the current overview of Core & Curve Lab’s services, while keeping in mind that the company is still growing and evolving.
You do not need to wait for perfection
One reason I am sharing this now is because I know what it can feel like to wait until everything is perfect before taking the next step.
When you live with chronic illness, “perfect timing” may never arrive. Capacity can change. Energy can fluctuate. Plans may need to shift.
That does not mean progress is impossible.
Sometimes progress looks like completing one small task. Sometimes it looks like asking one question, reading one article, attending one appointment, or resting before you reach exhaustion.
I am trying to build Core & Curve Lab with that reality in mind. I want the company to reflect a more sustainable way of moving forward, one that leaves room for rest, adaptation, and real life.
I am learning to build without rushing. I am learning to create without pretending. I am learning to make space for both ambition and limitation.
That is the kind of progress I want to model.

Your questions are welcome
If you have a question about what I am learning, what I am building, or where Core & Curve Lab may be heading, please ask.
I may not have an immediate answer to every question. When I do not know something, I will say so. I may need to research a topic further, consult reliable sources, or explain that something is outside my current scope.
Honest answers matter more to me than impressive answers.
You can ask about:
- Why I started Core & Curve Lab
- What I am currently studying
- How the company’s integrated care model is developing
- Topics you would like to see explored
- The challenges of building a business with chronic illness
- Ways to stay connected to future updates
- Resources or information you hope Core & Curve Lab will offer
Your questions can help shape the conversations that happen here.

An invitation to learn together
Core & Curve Lab is still becoming.
I am still learning. I am still building. I am still finding the clearest ways to communicate this vision and create support that honors the women it is meant for.
But I am here, and I am committed to the process.
This is not a promise that I have every answer. It is a promise that I will continue asking better questions, seeking knowledge, listening carefully, and taking the next thoughtful step.
If you are living with Lipedema, navigating chronic illness, supporting someone who is, or simply want to understand more, you are welcome here.
You do not need to arrive with perfect words. You do not need to know exactly what you need. You can begin with a question.
